Ank Staunaker's Model A Ford
That is me in the foreground. I call the fence post on which I am standing my first pulpit. The best I recollect, one of my relatives from Eastern Maryland was visiting and he bribed me in order to get me to stand on the post. I guess he thought I looked cute; barefooted West Virginia hillbilly with bibbed overalls standing on a fence post. If I look scared it is because I am. I had acrophobia all my life until the need to paint the church house roof took my fear away.
